MASTERS OF DECEIT is a limited 4-part drama series about the 20th century’s most prolific fine art forger, Eric Hebborn. Aided by Sir Anthony Blunt, a celebrated art historian, an advisor to the Queen, and a Soviet double-agent. Eric and Anthony, the masters of deceit, battle to conceal numerous secrets and fictions as treacherous dealers, British and Russian intelligence services, investigative journalists, mafia assassins, old friends, and new foes, attempt to destroy them both.

Gerard & Trinder Projects is a collaborative endeavour between producer/writer Peter Gerard and author Kingston Trinder.
Peter Gerard is an award-winning film producer and entrepreneur, known as a leading expert in marketing, distribution and emerging digital platforms for films and series. Gerard has produced and directed a number of award-winning films, including the winner of a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award. Gerard got his start in the film world in 2000 when he made his first award-winning documentary and founded mid-Missouri’s first film festival. From 2014-2017, Gerard worked at Vimeo, where he was promoted to VP & GM of Entertainment, overseeing content strategy, curation, product experience, marketing, operations and engineering for Vimeo’s viewing destinations on TV, mobile and web, including Vimeo Originals and the open platform for free and VOD films and series. Gerard was responsible for the launch of High Maintenance, Alan Tudyk’s Con Man, an Emmy-nominated Garfunkel & Oates special, and the Oscar-nominated Pear Cider & Cigarettes, among many other series and films. Prior to joining Vimeo, Gerard was founder and CEO of Distrify, a direct-to-fan video-on-demand service and online social cinema-marketing suite based in the UK, for which he earned the British Council and The Guardian’s Creative Entrepreneur Award.
Kingston Trinder is an awarded author, anthropologist, and publisher originally from New Zealand. Kingston has authored a novel Milk Tooth (2012), a nonfiction novel, Incarcerated; one man’s journey into madness (HarperCollins, 2021), and several fine art monographs with independent publishing house Atelier Éditions; Old Glory (2016), Chromatic Reflection (2016), An Atlas of Rare & Familiar Colour (2017), Who is Michael Jang? (2019) and John Cage: A Mycological Foray (2020). He has further authored works for AnOther, COLORS, Dazed & Confused, Kennedy, mono.kultur, and Monocle. His work has been favourably reviewed within the BBC, Wallpaper, New Scientist, The Smithsonian, The Telegraph, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Financial Times. Kingston is the recipient of several literary awards, creative fellowships, and writers’ residencies.
